Product common troubleshooting - compensation cabinet does not work


In order to facilitate customers to solve some problems in the use of our products, this document is specially organized. It mainly provides corresponding solutions and disposal methods for some problems frequently encountered in the field use of our products.


The load is running and the compensation cabinet is not working (ie the capacitor is not put into operation)


   1. Check that the above “communication” is normal – only when the communication is normally connected, the capacitor can be switched (especially the controlled product);
     2. Check if the value of the power factor is lower than the set input threshold:
      (1) When the load has a high natural power factor or other compensation equipment such as “local compensation”, the power factor will be relatively high. When the input threshold is higher than the input threshold, the capacitor is not input.
      (2) The phase sequence of the voltage line and the current sampling line does not meet the requirements of our company's drawings, which will result in a power factor sampling error (probably showing a negative number, that is, an advanced state), resulting in no compensation. Of course, it is also possible that the power factor sampled is low, resulting in overcompensation of the system;
     3. At low load, due to insufficient reactive power, the capacitor will not be put into operation - you can choose to configure a capacitor with a smaller capacity to meet the low voltage compensation requirement at low load;
     4. Whether the “protection” (or “over-limit” and “alarm”) indicators of the controller or the host are lit. When lighting, eliminate overvoltage, undervoltage, undercurrent, harmonic alarm and temperature. Compensation system protection caused by restrictions and other reasons (not invested);


 solve:Inform the customer of the above reasons that will cause the capacitor not to be invested, and the customer will investigate one by one. For the problem of voltage and current phase sequence error, you can manually put the capacitor into the capacitor.


Observe the trend of grid power factor and total current change to judge - hysteresis state, the capacitor is thrown, the smaller the current, the higher the power factor; the advanced state, the capacitor is thrown, the current is higher


Large, the smaller the power factor (negative number). If the above rules are not met, the phase sequence is wrong.
